Easiest Cake Balls

These were by far the easiest cake balls I ever made. We are calling them that because I forgot to get the sticks for the cake pops on my grocery delivery lol. Now we actually like these better. Even my pickiest eater loved them!

3 ingredients : Little Debbie cakes( we picked the birthday ones), vanilla candy coating, sprinkles

1) Unwrap 2-3 boxes of Little Debbie snack cakes. We used the birthday cakes but the chocolate or fancy cakes or even the Christmas tree cakes would be great too. Then mix with hand mixer until well blended. You shouldn’t have to keep adding frosting to get to the consistency you need like in other recipes I have seen. It mixes perfectly.
2) Next scoop out balls of the cake mixture onto a cookie sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.  Then put in freezer for 10-15 mins to make firm and prepare for the candy coating step.
3) Insert a wooden skewer into bottom of each ball and dip in candy coating. This candy coating is from Target. I loved how it came in a tray and you just heat for 2 min. Make sure to let the excess drip off and then slide onto cookie sheet or plate. Immediately sprinkle the sprinkles or crystals on each ball.
4) Slide them in the frig for an hour then enjoy! These are great for parties and cookouts, but also for times when you crave something sweet when a piece of birthday cake is not around.
